She is a research fellow at the Department of Sociology and Economic Law, University of Bologna. She has been a visiting scholar at CRISES (Centre de Recherche sur les Innovations Sociales, Université du Québec à Montréal), IPK (Institute for Public Knowledge, New York University) and CRISES Redifined (University of Jyväskylä, Finland). Her research interests are: social innovation, migration, tourism, art and creativity and sustainability. She is a researcher in the project Atlas of Transitions. New Geographies for a Cross-Cultural Europe and is currently researcher in the project Welcoming Spaces. Revitalising Shrinking Areas by Hosting Non-Eu Migrants . She is the author of the book (2019) “Social Innovation. Practices and processes for rethinking communities”, FrancoAngeli, Milan. For several years she has collaborated with the Responsible Tourism Festival IT.A.CÀ, migrants and travelers.
